This new edition of the Nike Blazer Mid 77 Vintage Shoes offer an old school look within a raised silhouette that harnesses the models origins as a basketball sneaker. Enhanced by the crisp white leather uppers, elongated Swoosh ticks have been added on either side of the foot having been cut from faux snakeskin for a distinctive look, whilst sail coloured suede shapes have been placed around the front of the foot for extra character. White cotton laces offer a secure fastening that encases the exposed foam fabric tongue, with a woven Nike branded label wrapped around the top edge. On the back of the heel an additional section of faux snake skin has been added and provides a base for embroidered ‘NIKE’ lettering in white. A breathable mesh lining runs throughout the interior of the style, with subtle perforation on either side of the foot inserted above the non-marking solid-rubber outsole for ventilation. A special treatment has been applied to the midsole for a vintage look whilst the herringbone pattern supplies quality traction and durability.
First introduced in 1973, the Nike Blazer is one of the brands earliest styles released less than a decade since its establishment. The simple aesthetic has changed very little throughout time but since its recent reestablishment, an array of attractive colourways and modernised performance features have been introduced that reflect the silhouettes versatility and timeless appeal.
